About Kristy 

For years, I knew how to build a successful business. Learning how to build a life that felt like mine took a little longer.

I’m Kristy Morrison, an award-winning REALTOR®, entrepreneur, adventurer, and founder of Built From Within. Nature grounds me, personal development keeps me curious, and spirituality shapes how I listen to myself and move through the world.

​

I spent years building businesses, growing a career, and creating a home on 36 acres. There was plenty to be proud of, but somewhere along the way, I realized I had become very good at keeping everything going without asking whether I wanted to keep living that way.

​

The end of my 20-year marriage became part of a much bigger reinvention. I began letting go of what no longer fit, simplifying, and making choices based on what mattered to me. That journey eventually brought me from Ontario to Alberta, where time in nature, mountain adventures, and snowboarding have become part of my everyday life.

​

I’m still building, exploring, and figuring things out. These days, I leave more room for curiosity, connection, and changing my mind.
 

That perspective carries into my work. Having personally bought, sold, invested, renovated, and relocated across provinces and internationally, I understand that a property decision often comes with a much bigger life decision. I bring practical strategy, firsthand experience, and a thoughtful approach to helping people choose their next move.

My team and I support buyers and sellers throughout Ottawa and the surrounding Ontario communities, as well as Cochrane, Canmore, and Calgary in Alberta. For those exploring Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, including Tambor and Santa Teresa, I share my experience and connect them with trusted local professionals.

Through Built From Within, I share the more personal side of the journey: self-trust, boundaries, spirituality, reinvention, and the courage to make choices that feel like your own. Through community gatherings and shared experiences, I create opportunities for people to connect along the way.
