All too often we focus on what we don’t have and I used to be guilty of this mindset too. I used to think my condo I was rending was crap in a crappy neighbourhood that was unsafe if you went to the right and if you went to the left it was sleepy filled with retiree’s in there retirement homes. I was upset I had a crappy car, I was upset that my career I went to school or out of passion only delivered $12/hr I mean I could work at any big box store or grocery store without wasting 3 years and 30 k in school. It seemed that I always had something to complain about in my mind (never verbally as who wants to hear about other peoples problems right)
One day I read about positive affirmations and positive thinking and I decided I needed to try and change my thought process inside. At least I had a car to drive, at least I had a job in a field that I loved, at least I had a roof over my head. If I broke something I would think at least it’s not a bone or that the item was replaceable. If I was late to work I would be happy that I made it in one piece and that I had a job. When I had to put my beloved dog down because he couldn't walk anymore I was grateful for the time we had together. From then on I decided everything that happened in my life I CHOSE to look on the bright side of life. At first I didn’t notice much of a difference but over time life got better and better.
No matter where you are in life, what has happened to you or how hope less it feels always choose GRATITUDE as it truly creates HAPPINESS! Life is forever changing and I encourage everyone to always look on the bright side and be grateful for your life you currently have. Raise your vibrations and be happy life is so amazing when you choose to be happy!!
